Oh my goodness, people, I just passed 10 000 pageviews! Thank you to everyone who's taken the time to swing by and check out my work.
Oh course, it'd be nice to actually put up a piece to celebrate, but I've been swamped with more mundane concerns of late, I'm afraid. Finishing up my degree while working a full-time internship and searching for additional employment and a new apartment really eats into one's kitbashing time, as it turns out. Never fear, you've not heard the last of me, but I certainly won't have anything new up until at least late May. We'll see how things go.

Mo' Money, Mo' Transformers

What's the good word, ladies and gents?
So, I pretty much never use this thing, but I gots things what need sayin'. First off, just a heads up that there's probably going to be a bit of a slowdown in terms of new stuff, what with exams and the holidays right around the corner. The final two figures in my Beast Wars Animated line won't be up until at least January, for one thing. See, now you're all excited, and like, "Who's it gonna be? Who's left? OMG, GT!" but you gotta wait. Gonna be like a second gift-giving-winter-holiday of your choice.
Now I have a couple of questions to put forward to the interwebs brain trust. I've been playing around with the idea of doing some custom Human Alliance-style human figures, but obviously using the real things as bases would be seriously cost prohibitive, plus owning one Skids is embarrassing enough (I only really wanted Arcee and Mikaela). Do any of you know of a 2" scale toyline with similar style and articulation to the HA humans? So far everything I've found at that size has been really cartoony.
Finally, anybody know where a guy can find an Animated Wreck-Gar at non-ridiculous prices? He saw pretty much zero distribution in Canada, as far as I can tell, and not having Crossovers Weird Al makes Uncle Giz cry, boys and girls. Not enough to pay like $50+ on eBay, mind you. Uncle Giz is a broke university student/intern.

Firetruck-class transport

Hey folks!
So, it's getting to the point where I need to figure out a name for the ship in my 'Firetruck' series. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, take a look around my gallery. Don't forget to comment and favourite; I'll hoard your feedback to sustain me through the long winter months.
Anyway, since I can't put up a poll, and since only a handful of you lovely people are going to care either way, I'm opening this up to suggestions. You can just comment of this journal entry, I guess. Be part of the creative process!
Right now the front-runner is Crystal, after the destroyed Cybertronian metropolis Crystal City, following the same naming convention as Serenity itself. By that logic, Iacon could work, too. I could also go more obvious, with the Ark or Axalon. Let me know what you think, or suggest another name. Or just tell me how awesome I am. I'm not picky.
